1. Here are the steps to turn on the computer :

• Ensure that all power cable in a computer are connected.

• Turn on CPU by pressing the on or power button on the cosing.

• Turn on monitor by pressing the on or power button on the monitor.

• Wait until the booting procedure is finished, which is shown. By the desktop appearance on the monitor screen.

2. If the computer crashes or hangs or can not be shut down through the standard procedure, use the “reset” button to re-start the computer

3. By using the Start Menu

Start Menu contains shortcuts to all installed softwares in the computer.

There are two ways to acces on application from start menu :

• Start Menu > All Program > Application Folder > Click one the application

• Start Menu > Type the application name in the Start Search column and press enter.

4. Word Processor (Office Suite) > Software for documenting letters, books, reports, thesis, work papers, etc. For example : Microsoft Office 2007, Open Office. Org & Abiword.
